Right before bedtime last night, the boy reminded me that he wanted pizza for lunch this week. I asked him what kind of pizza he wanted, and he said, “Pizza that tastes good!” Which was useful direction because I was originally planning to make pizzas that taste like boogers.

Today kicks off Pizza Week at the Busy-Lazy household. As I was rolling out the pizza dough this morning, I realized that I can’t eat most of the food that I make for the boy’s lunch because it’s usually chockfull of gluten products. I considered (for a split second) making gluten-free pizza dough, but then I came to my senses. 

I made meatballs and mushroom pizza for the boy’s lunch. As soon as I took it out of the oven, I thought, Hmm, maybe a calzone would have been better? Let’s see how it goes.
