Call me superstitious, but since 9/11, I never take the same path to work. When I arrive at Penn Station in the morning, I make a point of walking a different route each day to my office. It’s only about 10 blocks, but depending on the route, it could take 10 minutes or 20 minutes. Got into the city a little earlier than usual this morning, so I took a nice leisurely stroll. I know it’s technically still Summer and September has a tricky way of bouncing back with major heat. But this morning was like a beautiful Fall day.
There’s an antique shop a few blocks from my office and sometimes they’ll have a truck loaded with new acquisitions, pictured above. The shop seems to have a lot of circus-themed knickknacks. Not sure who buys this stuff, but it’s awesomely cool to look at.
