After the kiddie birthday party on Saturday, we stopped by a Japanese market in Queens. If you haven’t been to a Japanese market, I highly recommend it. Besides being able to find some great candies and food stuff, you can find random household items, like feather-tipped ear pickers and colanders of virtually any size. You never know when you’ll need a half-cup colander, really.

I bought a tray of assorted flavored mochi at the Japanese market, so we had some for dessert tonight. Yum!
