Yikes. It’s seriously hot in the Northeast. And it’s supposed to feel like 115 degrees in my town today! Even though the boy went to sleep way past bedtime last night (he was waiting for me to finish a conference call with my company’s Asia-Pacific office), he’s already up for the day.
I asked, Why are you up so early? The boy said, It’s too cold to sleep. I said, The air conditioning makes it cool, but if you went outside, it’s plenty hot. He asked, Are you going to work today? I said, Yes. He asked, When are you coming home? I said, The usual time. He said, OK, have a nice day, I love you.
